
A graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno, Jeremiah has a Master’s Degree in Journalism Media Innovation. Working on multimedia productions including documentary filmmaking, podcasting, media production, and writing.
Jeremiah first got into filmmaking after finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Writing Emphasis, and with a minor in Cinema and Media Studies. While attending UNR as a writing major, he discovered a newfound passion for visual storytelling.
He has worked as a Cinematographer and Camera Operator for documentary film projects for various producton companies in the Reno area, as well as the Reno PBS station. At the start of his career, he worked as a Production Assistant, as Grip and Gaffer. These experiences have furthered his knowledge of video production; ultimately, inspiring him to create Whiterok Pictures.
Jeremiah has filmed documentaries, promotional/educational projects for non-profit organizations, has worked alongside independent filmmakers on passion projects, and has filmed local events, and bands/acts in the Reno area.
Jeremiah Sampson, founder of Whiterok Pictures, is a Videographer based in Northern Nevada. He works within Reno and the Washoe County District.
